The Obama administration
They actually forced this Black woman from the USDA based on tapes from Andrew Breitbart? Are you fuckkking kidding me? These are the same people with
the doctored ACORN video's.. They are a bunch of tea bagging race baitors. Why would they (and the NAACP for that matter) not fully examine the tapes
before making a decision?
Obama may have a bunch of incompetants running the store, but the buck ultimately stops with him.

Powerless? The President is quite powerful. The President is in charge of the armed forces, pushes
agenda's and is responsible for giving a face to the American people. The real power though, law wise, is in the Senate.

White folks' biggest fear has always been that if black people were to gain too much power in this country they would use it to seek revenge on them
for slavery/racism. This fear is what drives stories like this and why Obama is so nervous about these claims of reverse racism. He is trying to stay
on course and build this nation back up without getting caught up in the right wing bullschit. However, they stay on his ass and thus things like this
happen. It is easy to want to "Blame Obama" for everything, when in actuality you all need to look at the source. Obama didn't cause the BP spill
anymore than he set out to fire Sherrod. He will however take the fall for the misdeeds of a white man, which seems to be what his Presidency is all
about.

There is NO such thing as a perfect relationship. Is he giving you 80-20? Then he's good to go. lol As you can see, I'm not political. And I think
Obama is awesome. And I would keep him in office until I die versus take another day of Bush. <3
What makes her authority? Well...she assumed the position.

He may be powerful when compared to you and I, but the real policy makers seem to come from a corporate influence. Every decision made has done
little to control the corporate monster that feeds on world.
I think Bush was one and the same with them so his agenda had little conflict with theirs. Our current president, on the other hand, is having a very
difficult time getting any real change though the country. Don't get me wrong, I like him and I don't want to believe that all the things he said
on the campaign trail was a lie. I think he came into this with a set of intentions that were wiped clean by the reality that he does not control the
country. He can try to influence it, but the ball is in the court of the corporate giants that hold billions of dollars in the World economy.

My thing is these people (Breitbart) have a history of releasing doctored video tapes to not only discredit ACORN, but ultimately to smear and
embarrass the Obama administration - so of course they're going to just take their word for it? Breitbart, Fox News, Drudge are all race baiting
hypocrits and everyone knows this. Yes the NAACP also fell for it (which is riculous considering it's their own tapes), but this is someones
livelihood and reputation they're dealing with. I don't think praticing due diligence to make sure information is correct is too much to ask.

I agree, however, the firing of Shirley Sherrod was not about any "corporate" interests as everyone else in this thread oddly wants to talk
about (I love it when black people use the hurt, pain, misery and crushing on the lives of other blacks to push their OWN nasty political agendas -
and then have the nerve to cast aspersions on Obama's intentions).

Obama is the friendly face of the empire. Think about it...the American state has been on a steep decline for the past 50 years. The public is
highly resistance to government measures, and is highly disillusioned. With the newest economic crisis, the faith in the system is at its lowest.
Thus, the only way to re-legitimize the American state is by pushing a candidate to the White House who can regain the American citizens faith in the
American state. One of the ways of doing this was bringing stability by reaching out to traditionally disenfranchised and marginalized citizens(Read
Black people)because the white populace (Whether its through left-liberal politics or Right wing propaganda), the white populace h as lost
overwhelming faith in the system.
By creating the notion that black people have anything to gain from the American Capitalist system, there was much political gain pushing a black
president that could continue the ruling class agenda and bring political stability to the larger poor/working class of Americans.

The fact that it would cause an obvious backlash among the white middle/working class plays into the Old guard black politics that whites can never be

able to push agendas that will further marginalize black people; opening them up to forces that can further profit from black suffering (Various
poverty industries, privatizing poorly funded public assets in black neighborhoods etc) . This is a political perspective that is not being articulate
among black leadership, mostly because black leadership is completely ignorant of this reality or they are gaining politically from this reality. Time
will tell

Obama is president for a reason. If y'all think its only because you (& I) voted for him, you're sadly mistaken. First, he had to pass a litmus test
before the powers-that-be found him acceptable. What litmus test was that? Well, we can clearly see it - it is plain as day. First things first, bow
down and worship the Jews and Israel. Serve the interests Israel & the Jewish bankers. Proof? The Israeli genocide of Palestinians continues without
the slightest pimple in the way. Jews steal Palestinians land at something like a 3 sq. feet per second. The Jewish bankers (and yes, they're 99%
Jewish) have raked in trillions of dollars (our dollars, that is) in the short time he's taken office. Where did America's money go? A good place to
