Names you would not give

your kids.

What names whould you not want for your kid. Antree ( what ?)

Solange ? Bastardised Swahili names ( I.e. ghettofabulous names), Okay I know people are going to come after me for that but that is what ( Stuff Ghetto people hate said).

I would not give my kid something like Afred, Daniels, Peters, Thompson i.e. surname as a first name.Man when Nigerians give their children English Surnames as first names I always shake my head.

I can't even think of a name I wouldn't give my child. There are more names I wouldn't give than would give, so it would probably be better if I listed the names I would consider.

Sally, Sue, Johnny, Joe, anything Biblical. Anything with lots of syllables, just cause I think short names are lovely.

But these are my personal choices, I pass no judgment when it comes to the names people give their children, based on not wanting it done to me.

I don't particularly mind ghetto names, but I don't anything related to a consumer product.

I would never name my child Pillow or Blanket. Nor would I name my child Apple (a movie star actually named his child this).

I wouldn't name my child with any of the following:

Tannesha (or any of those names with esha or iqua at the end).
Sally, Samantha, Susan, Thomas, timothy, Phiphi, trixiebelle or anything 'out there'.

I couldn't believe Toni Braxton named one of her sons Denim...the other son's name Diezel...not as bad...but still UNIQUE...like Diesel fuel...boy hope those kids don't get teased...

T.I.'s kids..jermaine jacksons's kids names he had are "somethin'"...esp the jermajesty nammed son...I think the one's wiht unique names are by the wife he has now..who also was married to his brother Randy and they have kids..so Jermaine is a Daddy and uncle to some of the kids he's raising..and all their kids are half cousins..as well as brothers...wow...

For me.,..I have to admit..names where i think I've spelled it correct ..at least phonetically...come to find out by a momma or the person that it's spelled wrong....Monique...but they spell it Monike(seriously)...Vernistene but they spell it Verniastine...my list can go on and on...so suffice ot to say...

I follow the principle..KISS Keep It Simple Stupid...lol...for MY KIDS...not anyone elses...just MY PREFERENCE...)Shoot some people don't like my baby DTR's name and it is Simone...they say it's an old lady name..and some say i spelled it wrong saying it looks like Simon to them...a few said it should be spell Cymone....uh...not me..we'll follow the way Nina Simone spells her name and call it a freakin' day...lol...
