Eyebrow Threading- Who Here Has It Done?

About 3 weeks ago I went and had my eyebrows threaded for the first time. The procedure went horribly and I was left with a rash- you can read about it and see pics here-> http://brownsista.com/my-eyebrow-threading-experience/ . Because I loved the results- but not the rash- I found a new place to go and have decided to try the procedure again.

Are there any other eyebrow threading fans on this site besides me?

I have heard of threading before but am not quite sure what it is...
That site is blocked here at work for some reason. I'll check it out when I get home. A coworker of mine has it done a lot but she is an older white woman and I really cant tell (one way or the other) what she is raving about :dunno:

I have my eyebrows threaded every two weeks... it hurts everytime but the outcome is so pretty and I like the way she shapes them up for me...

Once you thread, you never go back to waxing/tweezing, etc. I love the results!!

There's this Indian woman who does it out of her home. I've been going to her for about 2 years now. I'm not going to lie, it's quite painful, but well worth it, IMO. :tu:

I'd say try again, but just go to a different person. I've never received a rash, bumps or anything-- but its always red in that area, and I think it's because I'm light. I just rub ice and coconut oil on it and go.

Are you Brown Sista? I'm always checking out that site!!

No, never done threading...looks painful and I don't like pain (I don't even tweeze)...I have a pain free way of manicuring my eyebrows.

I had a pain free way as well- shaving them off and drawing them back on

I'm ready to move on from that now though...

I love the threading but not the pain or the rash- which I hope I don't get this time around.

To be honest, that mess hurt too much and my skin stayed bruise a little too long. So, I didn't think that having a bruised brow was worth it considering that I had to have it done every two weeks..

So, I stick to waxing...but the results are fabulous...
