You've had HOW many partners!?!
Is it your business to know? Would you ask?
And if they told you, and the number was high...would it turn you off? What if it's a closed book of their past? What if their name is widely known
for that past?
Do you think men and women should be weighed differently on this scale? How many is too many for a woman, how many for a man?
And which is worse: (1) multiple partners or (2) few partners, but more adventures (orgies, three-somes, etc)
...sorry...boring day...lol

I think the scale should be weighed the same....if you (male or female) is promiscuous, you nasty, bottom line....
Yes, I have asked my 1 and only boyfriend, ain't no shame in my game, and I think it's my right to know.....
PLUS, i read a study that said that men have an average of 15 partners in thier lives, while women have an average of 4. Doesn't surprise me when
seeing that men (in most patrilineal/patriarchal societies) are praised with how many women they slept with....

While this could be true, I wonder where they got this evidence. This study made me think of the movie American Pie 2...Do you recall when Stifler
says that men always add a few to their list of partners and subtract about three of their sexual partners from their list? This study could be true
b/c women tend to have sex with people they are emotionally involved with, but there are a lot of women who have had a nice amount of sexual
partners...Instead of thinking about numbers, we should be thinking about STI/HIV/AIDS statuses.

I wouldn't really want ot know becaused I'd be disgusted if I find out it was plenty. However, the point is anyone can lie about how many partners
they have so what's the point? Where's the proof? Like osmeone said, as long as they are clean (yes getting tested) and have morals and values that
are similar to mines, then it shouldn't matter!

^^I see what yall sayin, about the "as long as they're tested/clean" thing, but, the reason I would wanna know numbers is because is an emotional
thing, whether it's admitted or not...that's why these so called "friends with benefits" end up feelin salty when the other partner dips on
'em...the number of people the person sleeps with, that's how many peeps they are spiritually connected to, so for me, while being STD free is
important, it's really all about the spiritual connection for me...

It can blow the new mates mind if the number is in triple digits...especially if the triple digiter is the female..lol...
I think it's human nature and just a curiosity...as well as why they broke up...type questions that come up....
I do find it interesting though ( AND YEAH OFF TOPIC)...but I have had guys ask in a sneaky way how many men have been to the "center of my tootsie
roll"..and have had.."me"......but to this DAY...none of my exes EVER asked me if I ever was pregnant or had an abortion or an STD....they would
concern themselves with who had me before them ina curious intent...but never something ...say..deeper...
I;d be concerned with IF they were still adding "ponies" to their stable WHILE we were trying to do our thing...lol...
I say...don't ask if you can't swallow the truth cold and raw and not sugar coated...ya know...be willing or open enough to handle the TRUTH answer
and not change up your itneraction with them....otherwise....don't ask....
I haven't had that many...but the few I've had..I HAD them A LOT.......lol.....

It would depend on the age. I'm 21 so if I'm dating a 21 year old male and he tells me his number is in the double or G-d forbid triple digits then
I'd consider him a hoe and bounce.

Very good point, I do believe that when you sleep with someone you are creating a soul tie so this is something to think about as well...Instead of
asking for numbers, I would rather know if my partner has slept with someone that I may know...The community that I live in has a small amount of
black people, most of us know each other, so if someone were to dip off with a person that lives in the same community, they are likely sleeping with
someone that has been with another person that they know, even if it was back in the day! I think this is more important than numbers!
