I'm curious as to what effect you think you have left on the members here and how you think you will be rememberd when you eventually leave?

Why are you so offensive in everything you say
and why are you so hateful
I thought what I wanted was something I needed, when momma said NO, I just should have heeded.

From the feedback I have gotten from the first time I entered these halls until now, I think I will be remembered in the following ways:
1) One who hold strong opinions
2) One who is not afraid to point out inconsistencies in people's presentations
3) One who comes across very arrogant
4) One who cares deeply about the black family
5) One who generated emotions of rage. I sometimes think some of you would give me a cyber-punch in a minute!
6) I made you think, whether you agreed with me of not
7) I could not be ignored
8) I believe that in time, much of what I have said and been vociferously challenged will become manifest, and many here will admit the efficacy of my
views.
9) For a while, for some, there will be great relief, happy that I have crawled back under the rock from which i came. Others will miss the
electricity I brought here.
PEACE!

Why do you think that some CL members dislike your online persona so much? Do you think that you will ever come back to CL as a member and why or why
not?

You know, I had a chance to review my original posts, as Pecan had suggested that i came across quite harshly. When I did so, I saw that I came across
in a very humble and conciliatory mode. I will admit that I did miss a point or 2 that Pecan made that was in partial agreement with my views, but
what I realized is that I present issues that are very unpopular in this present social-political climate. I speak on feminism and the importance of
the MAN in the black family, which goes against the very grain of what is being projected today.
Another thing I feel must be noted is how women and men perceive issues in a different manner, not to suggest that all men agree with me on all
topics. But when I was accused of bashing and hating black women, a complete lie, on more than one occassion, I stated that not only is my fight with
WLF, but I absolutely agree that the black man cannot be left off the hook with what has happened to us. This fell on deaf ears. Trust me, the
opposition had VERY little to do with how I said it, but THAT it said it in the first place.
While I realize that not all black men agree with me on all points, there are many that do, but just aren't as vocal as I am. This does not mean
these views don't exist. I get the impression that I am older than a lot of you, and I have seen things that you haven't, as you have seen things I
haven't. The present culture casts aspersions on the views that I hold, and as a result, the automatic reactions are "bashing" , "hatred" or
"mysogny".
I remember bringing up the point about how black homosexuals in the media were given a carte blanche to call black woman bee-atches, and save one
thinly-presented concurrance, I could get NOONE to admit or even address the issue that I made, that IF this had been a scenario where a MAN made the
same statement, there'd be strong public rebuke by NOW, Oprah, etc', over the "mysogyinistic behavior against black women", like i KNOW that if
Pee Diddy or 50-cent, NONE of whom i have any admiration for, had done the same thing to Janet Jackon as Timberlake, there'd be HELL to pay! Could I
have been smoother in some of my posts? ABSOLUTELY! But I am CONFIDENT that those particular respondents that I was a bit harder on, initiated it by
calling me names. Should I have taken the "high road"? Perhaps.
So, what I see in all of this, people like to remain in a comfort zone of ideology and thought. I belie that, coming at you with something you might
not be used to. Look, I hang out with brothers from time to time, who put me through changes as well. They are elders, and have no time for nonsence,
even though I may not always perceive what I opine as such.
We are living in very serious times and I hope, no matter what our ideologies are, that we see that we MUST take care of ourselves or PERISH, for in
the final analysis, that's who's going to do it!
PEACE!

Observing my mother and hearing the many, many things she taught me, the most important thing I have learned from her is the importance of thinking
for one's self. My mother had an independance in her that in my view, stood her out from many other mothers that I knew. Of course, we all think
that, but just comparing the conversations I had with my mother on world events, social issues, seeing the books she read, I just didn't neccessarily
observe that with other mothers.

From your presentation, I get the impression that you are no older than 22.
First of all, I think you greatly exaggerate on both points. If I for a minute, agree with you on the first point, I can point to the many names I was
called first, before I decided to take the offensive. And frankly, it it not my intension to personally offend anyone, save those who have, on our
very first interaction, called me names. I think if you carefully read my threads, you cannot come to that conclusion. In each, I tried my best to
support my points, with examples, suppositions and on occassion, recommended websites and books.
I don't know what your standard is about being hateful but I can assure you I harbor no feelings of hatred towards anyone on these posts.
PEACE!

Well of the posts I read of yours, you just come off extremely foul, you dont want to hear anything anyone else is trying to say and you twist peoples
words.
Also, I guess I come off about as young as I look. I'm 34, but can pass for 22

I'm sorry for misrepresenting your age, thus engaging in an unfair prejudgement of you.
Sister, I made it a point in all of my posts to address the issues raised to me . I did listen to the other side, very intently. And I would like you
to provide examples where I twisted people's words. I think you will find, like for example, when my statements against feminism were taken as being
anti black-woman, or my point about "Eve" were LARGELY unanswered, that the reverse was true.
If you read more carefully, you will see that I did NOT call anyone a !mutha-f, or a n!igga, but these terms were applied to me, but strangely, the
"hate" and "foul" labels weren't applied to them. I guess their ire was "understood".
PEACE!

Funny, I'm accused of ignoring other posters, but I can say that to the very best of my ability, on any thread that I participated in, I never
ignored the posts of others. I always tried to absord what they would say, so I can deliver my hard-hitting, teeth-jarring opinions.
PEACE!
