Okay the book for the month of June is Redemption Song by Bertice Berry.

Once everyone has started reading or is done reading, they can come in here and post their thoughts and opinions.

Happy Reading!! :D

I'll admit I haven't started. I've also noticed there wasn't much discussion for the other books we've read; particularly HoneyWell - since that's the only one I read.

But I would like to thank you for getting me to read again. I had slowed down a bit and was just readign magazines. Honey Well got me pumped again. I went to the library to get Redemption - that was all I could remember about the name. Obviously I didn't get the book, but checked out two others.

Drama Queen by LaJill Hunt - it was really good. I finished it in a week and now I have Lolita Files' Taste Like Chicken; which is a continuation of Scenes From A Sistah and Getting To The Good Part, both of which I have read.

But I'm going to get Redemption Song and start discussing

I thought what I wanted was something I needed, when momma said NO, I just should have heeded.

I hear ya girl.

I'm trying to get more people involved so we can have a proper discussing. We can still discuss Honey Well, and I would like to have a good discussion for Redemption Song. I even have thoughts of cutting out a book for July, just so we can talk about issues in both books.

Let me know what y'all think :)
